Colorado needs
affordable energy
Energy should be something every Colorado family can afford. From a recent poll, nearly half of Colorado voters say their electricity or natural gas bills have increased in recent months, and most are not willing to pay more on their monthly bills for energy.
Now is not the time for policies that drive costs even higher. Colorado needs a practical energy strategy that keeps power affordable so families don’t have to choose between paying their utility bill and putting food on the table.

Colorado needs reliable energy
Our homes, businesses, schools, and hospitals depend on reliable power every day. Colorado voters are clear that they support a balanced energy mix including natural gas, nuclear, geothermal, wind, and solar to keep costs down and the grid stable.

Rushing major energy transitions without the infrastructure to support them risks grid instability and power shortages. Colorado needs a responsible approach that protects reliability while continuing to innovate and invest in new energy technologies.

Colorado needs energy policy that supports high-quality jobs & encourages economic competitiveness
Energy policy shouldn’t push jobs and investment out of Colorado. Major industries from manufacturing and aerospace to advanced technology and data centers rely on stable, affordable power to grow and hire workers.

Policies that make energy more expensive or less reliable risk sending new companies and good-paying jobs to other states. Colorado should lead in energy innovation while ensuring workers have access to high-quality careers, apprenticeship opportunities, and long-term economic growth.
